CERT Young Chef of the Future 2002 Two teams from the school competed in this competion which is open to all secondary school students. At junior level Neasa Malone and Gillian Walsh cooked lamb kebabs and colcannon with summer fruits bread and butter pudding for desert. The senior team of Aoife Carey and Ellen O'Brien cooked herbed salmon with whiskey and Baileys chocolate budding for desert. The senior team was narrowly beaten while the junior team went on to win their section and compete in the finals in CERT headquarters. |
