Joey's Amazing Technicolour Walk Sarah's Class Act on RTE |
| St Joseph's College held a massive all-school sponsored walk on September 30 to raise funds for school equipment. The costumes were fantastic and the prizes went to: 1st Yr: Red Riding Hood 2nd Yr: Ballerinas 3rd Yr: Tinkerbell 4th Yr: Road Signs 5th Yr: Smurfs and Baby Boys 6th Yr: Dice For a full report and photos click here |
| St Joseph’s College represented in Class Act 2008
St Joseph’s College Transition Year student Sarah Gannon will feature on RTE1’s ‘Class Act 2008’ talent search programme. It will be aired on Sunday 5 October after the 6.00 news. To enter the competition she first sent in a DVD of herself singing, then she got a callback to the televised Athlone auditions and received three ‘Yes’ votes from the judges. She then went straight through to the studio heats. Sarah says ‘ It was a fabulous experience’. Best of luck to Sarah |
