| Dear Parents, Welcome to St Joseph’s College! When you enrol in our school you become part of a vibrant caring school community. We pride ourselves not only on our academic excellence, but on the development of the whole person. Our emphasis on Pastoral Care helps to ensure that each student is happy in school and will achieve her full potential. Our recently-completed extension provides top-quality facilities for Science, Home Economics, Computers, Art and Languages, complemented by the Canteen and competition-size Sports Hall. The majority of our students go on to study at Third Level and we are justly proud of our excellent examination results. We are fortunate to have a most dedicated and hardworking staff and can offer a very wide range of subjects and extra-curricular activities. Our long-established Student Council contributes enormously to the life of the school and we are very fortunate to have the ongoing support of the Parents’ Council who, apart from engaging in very necessary fundraising, are consulted on a wide range of issues affecting the school.
